When a 3V Gift Card is purchased, a prepaid Visa Number associated with that card is created automatically. When you activate your 3V Gift Card on this site, the 3V Visa Number will be displayed on screen. At the same time, the security details for your Visa Number will be sent to your email address.
To receive the Visa Number associated with your Gift Card, you must have access to a valid email account and be 16 years old or older. If you are under 16, your Gift Card must be activated on your behalf by someone who is 16 years old or older.
Use your 3V Visa Number (and the security details) to shop online, by mail order or by phone. Select Visa when you pay and enter the 3V Visa Number with the security details. 3V Visa Numbers can only be used for transactions with a value equal to or less than the available balance on the Visa Number. However you can increase the balance on a 3V Visa Number by transferring funds from another 3V Visa Number: please see below for details.

When a 3V Gift Card purchased, a unique prepaid Visa Number is created for that Gift Card. To get the Visa Number and its security details, you must activate the Gift Card on this site.
On the back of the Gift Card you will see a 19-digit Activation Code and, under a foil covering on the scratch panel, a 6-digit PIN.
Now you have everything you need to shop online: the Visa Number, the expiry date and 3-digit security code.
If access any of this information again, just sign in to MY 3V ACCOUNT using your email address and the password you used during the Activation Process.
To shop online, by mail order or by phone, you need your 3V Visa Number, the expiry date and the 3-digit security code. If you don't have this information, you can always get it again by signing in to MY 3V ACCOUNT on this site, using your email address and the password you used during the Activation Process.
You can only use a Visa Number to pay for transactions with a value equal to or less than the available balance on that Visa Number.
When you are shopping and you are ready to pay, select Visa as the payment method during the payment process. Enter the 16-digit Visa Number, the 3-digit security code (sometimes called the CVV2) and the expiry date for the Visa Number. Complete the payment process.

My 3V Visa Number has been charged £1 or a similar amount. Why?
This is very common. Many merchants will charge a small test transaction for £1 or similar amount the first time a credit card Number is used by a customer on their site. The test transaction is used by the merchant to check that the Visa Number and security details you provided are correct.
The test transaction will reduce the available balance on your 3V Visa Number temporarily. It will reverse automatically after 10 days and the available balance will increase. Otherwise, if you email 3V Customer Service at queries@3vprepaid.com, we can reverse the transaction manually for you.

Click on MANAGE MY 3V VISA NUMBERS.
A list of the most recent 3V Visa Numbers you have purchased will be displayed together with their current balances. If you have more than five 3V Visa Numbers, you will need to page through to see older Visa Numbers and their balances.
Click on VIEW TRANSACTIONS to see the transactions for any of your 3V Visa Numbers. You will also be able to see the status of your transactions.
If you forget any of your 3V Visa Numbers or if you lose the emails with the security details, you can get the Visa Numbers and security details again from the site.

You will see a list of the most recent 3V Visa Numbers you have purchased together with their current balances. If you have more than five 3V Visa Numbers, you will need to page through to see older Visa Numbers and their balances.
To get the security details for any of your 3V Visa Numbers, click on the RESEND link for that Visa Number. You will be asked to provide an email address to which the security details will be sent.
You can sign on to MY 3V ACCOUNT to transfer some or all of the money from your Visa Number to any other 3V Visa Number that has not expired.
There is a charge of £1.75 for each amount transferred.
How do I transfer money from one 3V Visa Number to another?

Click on MANAGE MY 3V VISA NUMBERS. You will see your five most recent 3V Visa Numbers; you may need to page through to see older Visa Numbers.
Before you start the transfer process, make a note of:
What is the maximum amount that can be transferred to a 3V Visa Number?
You will not be allowed to transfer funds to a 3V Visa Number if the balance after the transfer will be more than £1000.
You can sign on to MY 3V ACCOUNT to request the redemption of the remaining funds on a Visa Number to your bank account. 3V processes redemption requests every Monday and the funds should reach a customer's bank account 8 to 10 days later.
There is a charge of £3.50 for each Visa Number redeemed. If the Available Balance is redeemed within twelve (12) months after the Expiry Date, you will not be charged the redemption fee.
How do I redeem the funds from one or more of my 3V Visa Numbers to my bank account?
Before 3V can redeem funds from one of your 3V Visa Numbers to your bank account, you must first provide your bank account Number in IBAN format. This 22-character account number is available on your bank statement or by contacting your bank branch.

Step 1: Provide your bank account IBAN
Click on UPDATE MY BANK DETAILS. Input the IBAN for your bank account. 3V cannot redeem funds to your bank account without this information.
Step 2: Request redemption of the Visa Number(s)
Click on MAIN MENU and then on MANAGE MY 3V VISA NUMBERS. You will see your five most recent 3V Visa Numbers; you may need to page through to see older Visa Numbers. Click on the REDEEM link for the Visa Number you want to redeem and follow the instructions to confirm your request.
Step 3: 3V process your redemption request on Monday.
Redemption requests are processed every week, on Monday. The balance on any of your 3V Visa Numbers scheduled for redemption is reduced to zero. You can expect to have the funds, less the redemption charge of £3.50 (if applicable), paid to your bank account 8 to 10 days later.
What can delay the redemption of a 3V Visa Number to my bank account?
If there are outstanding unsettled transactions on the Visa Number when 3V attempt to redeem the funds, the redemption will not be processed but will be held for processing on Monday of the following week.
On the website, you can check or update your personal information (home address, email address, mobile Number), bank account details and the password you use to login to the website.
Just sign in to MY 3V ACCOUNT using your email address and the password you provided during the activation process. (If you have forgotten your password, click on FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD link, enter your email address and a new temporary password will be sent to your email address.)
Then click on the appropriate option on the main menu.
I lost my Gift Card before I activated it on the site. What can I do?
Nothing unfortunately: it's just like losing cash. To activate your 3V Gift Card, you need the 19-digit Activation Code and 6-digit PIN from the back of the card. If you lose a Gift Card before it has been activated on the site, you cannot retrieve the Visa Number associated with the card.
You don't need the Gift Card after you have activated it on this site.
3V Visa Numbers cannot be used on gambling sites or for certain reoccurring subscriptions.
There are some limits to 3V Visa Numbers that you should be aware of.
The balance on any 3V Visa Number can never exceed £1000.
You cannot activate 3V Visa Numbers with a total value greater than £1625 in any 365-day period without providing sufficient evidence of your ID and home address.
You cannot redeem more than £650 from your 3V Visa Numbers in any 365-day period without providing sufficient evidence of your ID and home address.
